How do I install an eSIM?

If you've skipped the online or in-app eSIM activation guide or you're having problems getting connected to data this guide's for you. The steps depend on what type of phone you're using:

For iPhone Users:

  1. Click the "Install eSIM" button during the eSIM installation step during your signup journey or by accessing your dashboard. Alternatively, follow the instructions in the eSIM email we sent you.

  2. Click the "Add eSIM" popup and follow the prompts to install.

  3. Configure your settings by selecting the Settings app and navigating to Mobile Service > Click this eSIM > Mobile Data Network.

    Then edit the following APN settings field so that they are:

    • gamma for the APN field within "Mobile Data".

    • three.co.uk for the APN field within "MMS".

    • Now give your phone a restart

For Android Users:

  1. Get started by downloading the eSIM QR code using the download button that appears during sign-up or in the eSIM email we sent you.

  2. In your phone settings head to Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM > From QR Code > Scan from Photo (shown below) and select the downloaded QR Code from your Photos. Follow the on-screen prompts to install your eSIM.
